Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland was on E!’s Fashion Police last week where she mocked Lea’s poses on the red carpet. Watch it here. This lead to people saying good things and bad things to Sarah which included people attacking her on twitter. Sarah had to explain herself on twitter which even carried on into Emmy weekend. Well Lea has finally given a response towards it at Variety’s 3rd Annual Power of Women she attended earlier today via US:

Last week Modern Family star Sarah Hyland playfully poked fun at the Glee star’s exaggerated red carpet posing style during E!’s Fashion Police, but Michele, 25, still doesn’t find Hyland’s snippy remarks very funny.

“I gotta be honest. It hurt my feelings a little bit,” Michele, who recently split from Theo Stockman, told Us Weekly Friday in NYC at Variety’s 3rd Annual Power of Women event. “I really think the message of today is that women should motivate and empower women, and so that’s why I’m honored to be a part of today.”

Hyland, 20, clarified on Twitter Saturday that her critiques were meant to be comical. “I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way,” she said. “But I did hate [her] dress. Called her ass great. Did you all hear that one?”

“Congrats Lea. You know how to work the red carpet. I can’t take it as seriously as you,” Hyland added. “I can’t take myself that seriously. I don’t like the red carpet. I feel silly. So props to her for knowing what she’s doing and enjoying it.”

But Michele isn’t too bent out of shape over Hyland’s comments. “I send her love,” she told Us. “I think she’s a great person.”
