Latest updates regarding Glee Comic Con Panel:

Poster

According to Washington Post, Lea will be attending both of her panels. However, it is still uncertain if she will be indeed attending both of them.

Ausiello just confirmed that Jenna Ushkowitz, Dot Marie Jones, Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr. will indeed be attending:

Like many of Glee‘s other cast members, who are unable to attend because their brief hiatus is filled with movie shoots and the like, Glee boss Ryan Murphy will be apologetically MIA. However, he is sending all of his top lieutenants — co-creator/EP Brad Falchuk, co-creator/EP Ian Brennan, EP Dante di Loreto and choreographer/Glee Project star Zack Woodlee.

Wait, it gets better!

Fans who attend the panel will get a sneak peek of Glee: The 3D Concert Film!

Plus, and I think I saved the best for last: I’ll be moderating, so you can count on wall-to-wall scoop!

THR: Ryan Murphy Reveals Season 3 Secrets

The Hollywood Reporter: Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are clearly the stars of Glee. Will you really write them out of the show entirely after next season?

Ryan Murphy: You know, people have been asking me that a lot. The thing that I’m saying officially is, yes I do have a plan. The great thing about season three is we’re writing toward something [the characters’ senior years in high school]. There is a conclusion, which is great for a writer. We literally just started [planning out the season]. So I don’t know for sure what will happen with those characters I love and everybody else has loved. We haven’t really made that decision. Some of the characters clearly have academic issues. Like Heather Morris’ Brittany I’m sure gets straight Fs. I would not be shocked to see her flunk. I love her.

THR: Who will get those major story lines? Might some of the show’s big stars fade into the background a little bit next season?

Murphy: [Rachel and Kurt] are two characters who I am very fond of personally and they will always get great material. We have great stuff for them. I think Lea [Michele] is hilarious. So we’re going to write some big stuff [for her]. I’m really interested in seeing Rachel’s gay dads who we’ve never met. I’ve said that I don’t want to do that. But maybe now is the time to do it. Also, we want to give Chris Colfer a really fun uplifting story line after the heaviness of last year.

THR: Are you actively looking for actors to play Rachel’s dads?

Murphy: I have ideas. We’re not there yet. I don’t know how I’m going to do that or when.

TVGuide: Who’s Graduating, Season 2 Backlash, and Next Year’s Lack of Guest Stars

Categories: Glee, News, Projects

Everyone wants to know who is graduating. In your mind, who are the seniors at McKinley?
Ryan Murphy: I think they’re all seniors, except I don’t think Chord Overstreet is a senior, and I think the Darren Criss of it all is very ambiguous. But we’re not really thinking about that right now. The other thing I’ll say is that there are a lot of kids in that glee club who are intellectually challenged, who I’m sure are pulling straight Fs.

Yeah, I think it’s going to be sad when it’s over, but it’s the responsible thing to do. I think it’s the right thing to do for the fans. I don’t think fans want a fake, six-year high school. I don’t think they’d go for it. And as we proved this year with Darren and Chord, you bring new people in and people love them. People care about them. I was worried about that, but I think that show is as strong as the people we add. I also think we have an amazing group of people in there who I haven’t written towards, who I am going to write for, so I am excited about that.

I’m glad you’re not worried, but can you really do a show without Lea Michele or Chris Colfer? Are you confident it will work without them?
Murphy: I don’t know. I haven’t figured out about Lea or Chris. I can only tell you they’re two of my favorite characters to write, and I love them both as people, and I will do whatever I can to help their careers. So, I don’t know what we’re going to do with them. I’m sort of shocked at this outpouring…

How can you be shocked?
Murphy: Well, I said this a year ago.

And now we’re nearing the deadline, which you alerted viewers to in the second-season finale, when Finn (Cory Monteith) points out that he and Rachel are graduating next year…
Murphy: I think that’s what it is. I think people might be like, “Oh, sh–! The time is nigh!”

Have you talked to the cast about graduation yet? Or have any of the actors come to you, scared?
Murphy: We just shot the Glee 3D movie and I made a point of going around to many of them and talking to them about what else they want to do in their lives. Can we help you? What are your goals? What are your dreams? It wasn’t about the show. But you know the show this year will be different than it’s been.
